PL237-R2 Molybdenum Disulphide Dry Film Lubricant

High temperature resistant Molybdenum disulphide loaded dry film lubricant coating. PL237-R2 is resistant to Skydrol, Ester lubricants and corrosive engine by products. For use where high wear and pitting occurs, as a protection against fretting, where short service life occurs due to chemical attack, corrosion or high temperature or where lubrication internals are often too short. Can be used as an alternative to MolyKote 3400A

PL181 High Temperature Dry Film Lubricant

Dry film lubricant resistant to corrosive environments, skydrol, lubricants, fuels and operating temperatures of up to 700°C (1,300°F), in areas of fretting and anti galling. Used for example on the marine RB211 and Rolls Westinghouse WR21. Protecting an internal satellite bush running at 500-550°C (930-1020°F), it is used at the turbine end in a variable geometry area to reduce friction. PL181 should be tested before use in aqueous envionments or manufacture processes where aqueous washing is used. PL181 has only limited resistance to water immersion.

Ipslip IP9286 Range Low Friction Coating

A fluoropolymer coating formulated to give excellent low friction and wear resistance. One coat system suitable for use in conditions of high temperature providing good abrasion resistance, flexibility and chemical resistance. Suitable for use on a wide variety of items, including automotove components, bearing surfaces and slides; saw and secateur blades and any areas where medium duty dry film lubrication is required. Available in a range of colours except white and pastels but, including metallics. Used as dirt shed coating on brake disc callipers on a variety of high performance cars including MGF, Caterham and Morgan. A suitable alternative to Sermalon 1140; Xylan 1010. Can be used over anti corrosive primers, for low temperatures (up to 220°C) use 700-155-003; temperatures over 220°C, either use Ipcote IP9183 or IP9286-6500 anti-corrosive non chromate primer (alt to 1083) or IP9310.

IP9136-R3 Graphite Filled Skydrol Resistant Dry Film Lubricant

Spray applied, stoving cured, silicon resin modified dry film lubricant for use where high operating temperatures preclude the use of conventional oils and greases. Suitable for application to steel, aluminium, magnesium and titanium alloys. Used on, for example spherical bearing surfaces to protect against frottage corrosion and on bolts for torque and gives an exceptionally good rubbing wear resistance. When used on bolts, it increases torque end loads. It is also used on turbine blade roots and fir trees where it reduces the likelihood of the disc splitting.

IP5266 produces a durable, bonded coating containing a synergistic mix of lubricating pigments in a tough, thermosetting resin binder. The system was developed to meet the demands for improved lubrication and corrosion protection in aggressive environments and provides a thin, hard, low friction coating which is capable of continuous operation at temperatures extremes. IP5266 particularly suited to the lubrication and corrosion protection of metallic wear faces running against a variety of polymeric wear materials as well as threaded fasteners, springs, pistons, plain bearings, pressing etc.
